Unless you tell us specifically not to,
we will publish on redrock.org -- at our discretion
-- any e-mails that are sent to anyone connected with the production
of this web site. If we publish such correspondence - unless
you tell us not to - we will include your name, e-mail address,
and any other information included in the correspondence which
we see fit. We reserve the right to edit for length, clarity,
and content. However, we won't interfere with your message in
any way: if we find your message too objectionable, we simply
won't print it.
To reiterate:
- If you e-mail the Editor (vantage.web@gmail.com),
regarding the redrock.org web site, we reserve the right to publish
it on the site unless you specifically tell us not to.
- We will publish your entire e-mail (including
your name, e-mail address, ohone number, etc.) unless you
tell us not to.
- We may find it either necessary or desirable
to change your letter as to its length, content, grammar, or
whether we think most people will understand its message; we
won't change your argument, however.
- We will publish certain opposing points
of view. We reserve the right to decide which.
- If we really don't like
what you have to say or the way we say it, we simply won't publish
it.
We may be arbitrary idiosyncratic, and
highly possessive of this web site, but that's just the way it
is. We will, however, in all cases, try to be fair.
IMPORTANT: Regarding anonymous correspondence: Anonymity and pseudonomy have an honorable tradition
throughout American history,
the most notable of which being the pseudonymous Publious,
the group of Founding Fathers who wrote the Federalist Papers
and helped shape our form of government. If you ask to be published
anonymously or under a pseudonym, and you accept the rest of
the above criteria, we will remove headers, phone numbers, names,
addresses, e-mail addresses, etc., to the best of our ability,
from your message before we post it. If we miss something, however,
you can't hold us liable.
