Dear Congressionals:
As a long time resident of Las Vegas, a nature lover, hiker,
and supporter of Red Rock Canyon NCA, I am greatly disturbed
about the potential housing development by John Liang Homes on
Blue Diamond Ridge. This development would have numerous negative
impacts to our wonderful "nature park" on the outskirts
of town, including greatly increased traffic, noise and
air pollution. The natural beauty and solitude of the
area would be compromised. The BLM should NOT do the land
exchange proposed. This area should be further protected as being
within the viewshed of Red Rock.
